Six new poles for on-piste skiing

Cober srl

With the arrival of the first snowfalls of the season and the imminent opening of the lifts, we are introducing six new models to meet the specific needs of skiers on the slopes.

With the introduction of these six new products, we bring our collection to fourteen models, in addition to the six race-specific poles and six dedicated to the rental world,” explains Alice Covini, Cober sales manager. “What all the new models have in common is a special focus on offering specific solutions for different needs, such as the new Bloom, which has a grip tailored to women’s ergonomics, or the new Independent, designed to follow children as they grow. All of our poles are produced in Italy, with a short logistics chain for both raw materials and ancillary processing, using recycled aluminium, but in the case of the new Leaf we have managed to further reduce the climate-altering emissions of production by using second-life plastic for the grip“.

CHAMP
New top of the range with total black look. Made of aeronautical aluminium Ergal 7075, an alloy that offers the best weight-to-strength ratio. Champ uses a robust 16mm shaft and a comfortable, ultra-light foam grip. The 42mm basket is not only lighter but also more aerodynamic.

FROSTY
New top of the range. Made of Ergal 7075 aeronautical aluminium, an alloy that offers the best weight-to-strength ratio. Frosty features a shaft with a diameter of only 14 mm, which makes it more aerodynamic, and the ergonomically designed Hero two-component grip with micro-ridges that make the grip more efficient.

ICON
Made of 5083 aluminium, a robust and reliable alloy that guarantees a long service life for the 18mm shaft. Available in two colours, it is equipped with the two-component Hero grip, a generally top-of-the-line solution, characterised by its ergonomic design with micro-ridges that make the grip more efficient.

LEAF
Leaf’s ergonomic grip is made of second-life plastic, a solution that reduces the climate-altering emissions from the production of this model. The 16 mm shaft is made of 5083 aluminium, a robust and reliable alloy that guarantees a long service life.

BLOOM
The design of the Petal grip that equips the new Bloom pole was specifically developed for the ergonomics of women and those with smaller hands in general, to offer a smaller diameter that is less tiring to grip. The 16mm shaft is made of 5083 aluminium, a robust and reliable alloy that guarantees a long service life. Available in two colours.

INDEPENDENT
To follow the growth of young skiers, Cober has developed a new model that is adjustable from 75 to 100cm, with the same CamLock closure used on adult models for ski mountaineering and trekking. The 14 and 16mm shafts are made of 5083 aluminium, a robust and reliable alloy that guarantees a long service life.
